Our Schnauzers are intelligent, hardy, affectionate, are very fond of children and are generally easy to potty train. All in all, we find them to be devoted family members with amazing attributes. We breed toy size and small size miniature schnauzer puppies. Their smaller size and non-shedding coat make them a suitable dog for town life and small quarters, but they are equally at home in the country. They are generally not fighters, though they will stand up for themselves when necessary. Schnauzers are home bodies and are good watch dogs. We breed our puppies not only for their great looks, but also to have the fantastic personalities and wonderful temperaments that they all possess. We strive only to breed the best of the best. We handed picked our four-legged family members. The parents of our puppies are level headed, very family oriented, and are not annoying barkers. Our puppies are spoiled rotten just like their parents are!

Toy Schnauzers are 11″ or less in height and their weight varies. Most of our Toy Schnauzer puppies weigh between 8 to 12 pounds and most of our small minis are 12″ or more and weigh between 13 to 20 pounds as adults. Please note that the expected weight and size of a puppy as an adult is just an estimate. We cannot guarantee the finished size that any puppy will end up being as an adult although with our experience we will do our best to give you a good estimate based on the parents size and the history of our past puppies final weight as adults.
Our adult dogs and their puppies are raised in a clean, healthy, and loving environment with the support of the Rose Hill Veterinary Clinic in Little Washington, Virginia. Our puppies are checked for soundness and overall general health. Our puppies are guaranteed to be in good health and free any life threatening condition at time of sale. All of our dogs range in age from less than one year to sixteen and none of them has any genetic conditions. The puppies we raise and their parents do not live in kennels; they live with us on the farm. All of our dogs eat a high quality dog food and take a daily nutritional wafer supplement to keep them happy, healthy and strong. The puppies we raise eat Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula Chicken & Brown Rice Dry Puppy Food.

We are currently giving your puppy a NuVet Wafer every day. If you continue to feed your puppy a NuVet Wafer daily for two years, we will extend our Health Guarantee for the second year too. Going Home
All of our puppies are available to go home once they are 8 weeks old. They go to their new home with a Puppy Book that includes a Health Guarantee and their complete Health Record with date and descriptions of all of the medications that your new puppy has received.
Our puppies are guaranteed to be in good health at the time of purchase and are also guaranteed against life threatening genetic defects for one year as long as you keep your puppy in the care of a licensed veterinarian. Our Puppy Book also contains information to aid you in adjusting to your new puppy and your new puppy adjusting to you and your family. By the time you receive your new puppy, they will have received their first age-appropriate puppy vaccinations and have been de-wormed several times; their tails have been docked, their dewclaws have been removed and their ears are left natural. We also send each puppy home with a Puppy Kit that contains a sample of NuVet Plus Immune System Builder Wafers, a small blanket that we have rubbed on your puppy’s litter mates, a toy and treats.
Pet Owners
All of the dogs we own are registered with AKC, but our puppies are sold as pets without registration papers unless it is prearranged. A strict spay or neuter Contract is executed and signed when you pick up your puppy as well. The new family’s ownership of the puppy is not confirmed until your puppy has been altered as the Contract requires. We require the altering of your new puppy to ensure that your pet will remain lovable and wonderfully focused on you and your family.
Waiting List
We keep a “Pick of the Litter” Waiting List of families who want to purchase a puppy from us. Our Waiting List gives the family pick of the litter position, in succession…..first position, second position, third position and so on. There is a NON-REFUNDABLE security deposit of $300.00 for your family to go onto our Waiting List. The $300.00 is credited towards the final purchase price of your puppy. You have your choice of sex, size and color, but more importantly…..you have the first right to see and consider our puppies before we advertise them anywhere else. In short, having us include your name on our Waiting List allows you to be considered as a potential family for our puppies before we advertise the puppies to the general public on our website, minimizing the competition. Once you choose your new puppy, we will supply you with a Puppy Security Deposit Agreement, to be executed at that time, to protect both the Seller and the Purchaser. The Puppy Security Deposit Agreement will reserve your pick of the litter puppy for you and your family. Please let us know if you would like your family to be included on our Waiting List. Please note that Taylor’s Toy Schnauzers reserves the rights to all puppies before any family on our Waiting List.
Once we have considered and satisfied all of the families on our Waiting List and we still have available puppies, those puppies will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Once your family has chosen your new puppy(s), a NON-REFUNDABLE $300.00 security deposit will hold your families’ pick of the litter. The $300.00 is credited towards the final purchase price of your puppy. Security Deposit payments can be made by check or cash. All other payments made towards the balance due for your new puppy purchase can be made by check up until your puppy is 6 weeks old. After that time, we require all remaining payments to be made in cash. All puppies must be paid in full by the time the puppy is 8 weeks old even if they stay at Taylor’s Heavenly Acres for an extended amount of time.
